Lotus is an installable documentation theme for Astro v7, Tailwind CSS v4, and MDX. It gives Astro projects a ready documentation shell without requiring users to fork a starter or give up control of their site structure.
It includes generated docs routes, responsive navigation, sidebars, table of contents, local search, Pagefind and DocSearch support, dark mode, i18n-aware routing, Expressive Code integration, Iconify-powered icons, and configurable design tokens for accent color, gray palette, radius, typography, and component styling.
For new projects, users can start from the official starter template: prosefly/astro-template-lotus-starter
For existing Astro projects, Lotus can be added as an integration: prosefly/astro-theme-lotus
